Orion Secure was founded in Syracuse, New York in 2009 — as Cyber Defense Institute — and has spent fifteen-plus years doing one thing: running security and compliance programs for regulated organizations. Today the firm serves clients across the US and Canada from Syracuse, New York — serving Upstate New York and beyonda few hours’ drive from Toronto, Ottawa, and Montréal. When the work calls for being in the room, we’re in the room.
We’ve grown almost entirely by referral. Clients stay because senior consultants do the work — every consultant holds a graduate degree and industry certifications such as CISSP and CISM; nothing is handed off to a junior bench, and nothing is quietly a sales channel for someone’s product.
